On Monday 29th November, social enterprise One Home – the UK’s first consumer climate action hub – is launching a weekly green living column in partnership with JPI Media, one of the UK’s largest media organisations. Called ‘Going Green’ the column will be written by One Home’s founder, environmental scientist Angela Terry. Packed full of handy tips, easy green swaps and eco-friendly celeb news, it will provide practical advice on the lifestyle changes people can make to tackle global warming and adapt to climate change. The column will run across JPI Media’s portfolio of 172 national, regional and local print and digital news titles. “In the wake of COP26, the public understands the gravity of the climate crisis. Nothing short of the future of our planet is at stake. We’re all in this together and it’s up to all of us to do our bit to reduce emissions. Thankfully, most people are now keen to find out about the lifestyle changes they can make,’ said Angela Terry. “I’m over-the-moon to team up with such a key news organisation as JPI Media. I set up One Home to provide people with independent, scientifically-accurate advice on how they can make their lives more eco-friendly. The Covid pandemic has shown that local newspapers still remain one of the most trusted sources of information, so this column is the perfect vehicle for us.” JPI Media Print and Design Editor Neil Pickford said: “We are delighted to be working with Angela Terry and the team at One Home. “They offer very practical advice for people looking to live a more environmentally friendly life, and I know that this material will be welcomed by our readers in print and online. “Our newspapers and websites are among the most trusted sources of news and information in the country. “Working with the One Home team, who offer accurate and trusted advice on a wide range of issues makes it a perfect mutually beneficial partnership.” Disclaimer The information in this article was correct at the time of writing and is provided for guidance only.
